Roman Signer is an artist whose work only lasts a second. In galleries, he presents the videos that he makes while he blows up a rocket or drops a shoe into a river. What he is experimenting with is the effect of forces.
Problem:
Create a poster that captures the nature of Roman Signer’s work.
Like Signer, I wanted to create museum posters that would show the effect of forces on the poster. I experimented with water-soluble inks that would change in rain. In the end the ink would not disappear as it did with Signer’s work, but it did change enough visually that the forces of nature were present.
