This section is all about me as a person—beyond the professional roles and achievements. While my work defines part of who I am, these experiences and interests shape what drives me, what inspires me, and ultimately, what makes me tick. I believe that understanding the person behind the work is just as important as the work itself, and I hope this gives you a glimpse into what fuels my passion and creativity.
Travel
In my 20s, I had the incredible opportunity to live and travel abroad, experiences that shaped both my personal and professional growth. From 2010 to 2014, I lived in Switzerland, Paris, and London, using these cities as home bases to explore much of Europe. During that time, I earned a Master’s degree in Switzerland and became proficient in German. Later, from 2016 to 2018, I traveled across South and Central America, learning Spanish along the way and working as a freelance graphic designer. These experiences honed essential skills like problem-solving, strategic planning, effective communication, and adaptability—qualities I bring to every project I undertake. So far, I've traveled to 50 countries and look forwards to adding more.
Ultimate Frisbee
I’ve been passionate about Ultimate Frisbee since I first picked up the disc in the fall of 2005. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of competing in World Championships on both grass and beach fields and playing in 26 different countries. Ultimate has been more than just a sport for me—it’s how I connect with new people, build community, and fuel my greatest passion.

What sets Ultimate apart is its self-refereed nature, which has helped me develop not only the traditional skills athletes gain, like teamwork and time management, but also conflict resolution and effective communication. In the fall of 2023, I took on a new role as the coach of the University of Maine Women’s team. Coaching has allowed me to give back to the community that has given me so much and to share my love of the sport with the next generation of players.

Other Hobbies
Gardening. Rock climbing. Cooking.

I’d say I’m an active and curious person at heart. I enjoy hobbies that challenge me, keep me moving, and push me to grow. Gardening gets me outside after being on a computer all day. Rock climbing helps me quiet the fearful voice in my head. Cooking fuels my creativity as I try to use everything in the fridge and not waste anything.

At the end of the day, I’m someone who thrives on doing, learning, and growing. I try to live by two guiding principles: “The grass is greener where you water it” and “Say yes to adventure.” I aim to approach life with curiosity and intention.
