PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
While studying for my Bachelors at the University of Washington we had the assignment to create poster for the United Nations Millenium Goals. The assignment required that the majority of the message was to be visual, the only text allowed on the poster was the brief one sentence description of the goal that could be found on the initiatives website.
My visualization is representing the idea that education improves one's life. The ladder is built from number 2 pencils, an iconic supply of schools, and on the rungs are the words 'education" and "opportunity". The rung labeled education is broken, implying to the viewer that without this step, the climber cannot reach opportunity.
